Category Select - A new field type for ExpressionEngine
We have been working hard, and have released another ExpressionEngine 1.6.8+ add-on. Category Select is a Pixel&Tonic’s FieldFrame field type which displays categories (from multiple category groups!) in a drop-down list.

Our very own dev guru in the ‘Spotlight’

Publish Redirect - a new ExpressionEngine 2.0 Add-on
We are pleased to announce that Andrew has released a new extension specifically designed for ExpressionEngine 2.0. Publish Redirect allows you to redirect a user to a specific page after updating or adding an entry. By default the extension will redirect the user back to the current entry edit screen and display a message.

I Vote For Art gets an upgrade
Now I normally wouldn’t mention when we simply upgrade or update a site we have designed, but there was a little bit of psychology that went with the recent update to I Vote For Art that I thought would be worth sharing.
In conjunction with the client, three areas were identified that needed updating and improving with the site.

Tutorials: Petitions with ExpressionEngine and Freeform
A recent project had a lot of requirements. Most were straightforward, and things we come across in our daily lives as web developers… blog, news, about us, contact form, etc. As with all clients, they also had a few requirements that were not quite “out of the box”.
Along with these usual features, the site required the Content Management System (CMS) to create petition forms for individual campaigns that they were running. It may come as no surprise to those who know me… but of course I turned to ExpressionEngine to help solve my problems.
